The flames of passion and hell are burning as Sonny and Ava did the unthinkable by sleeping together on Friday’s episode of GH. It was one of the most shocking scenes I’ve seen in a long time. Who would have thought that the heated conversation between Sonny and Ava would lead them to have sex in the middle of the mausoleum! Morgan walks into the steamy room and It doesn’t take a rocket scientist for him to quickly figure out that he had been betrayed in the worse way. Morgan goes straight to Olivia to tell her what happened as the two enemies figure out how to handle the situation.
Aj is dead and burried but the secrets surrounding his death are sure to surface in the light as Carly and Franco slowly but the pieces together. This Sonny and Ava situation is building up to something that will become part of the GH legacy.
Sabrina has her baby preterm and is worried that the baby won’t survive. The PCPD is in search for whomever caused the accident. I think that Britt’s mother had something to do with it. Or maybe TJ’s mom did it to show Ava that she can roll with big boys. I think she would do anything to prove herself but at this point you never know. I’m excited to see Olivia’s reaction and how Sonny will cover his tracks to get out of this situation. The Luke storyline is still brewing and I think all this may lead to Maurice’s possible retirement from GH. I’m looking forward to seeing the show develop this week!!!

Now that Dante and Lulu officially have their baby, lets see how long their happiness lasts.
Some new storylines are taking shape on GH. The most important one as of now is Carly telling Franco that Sonny shot Aj. I hope Carly realizes that it won’t be a secret for far too long.
Sonny will soon learn the truth about Ava, and in the process be devastated over his actions. I think that Sonny will have another breakdown once he finds out he killed an innocent man.
The story between the Westbourne family is getting more interesting by the minute. Nathan’s mother is really Dr. O’s son, which makes Nathan and Britt brother and sister. They are on the verge of sleeping together, but hopefully something will stop them. If would be crazy if they do sleep together, Britt gets pregnant and tries to manipulate Nick into believing the baby is his.
Lets see how the week ends.
Happy Weekend

Noah “Movie Review

Noah poster

Noah starring Russell Crowe and directed by Darren Aronofksy was a complete disappointment to the epic Bible story. Noah is chosen by God to complete a great task, to build an ark to save the animals, (and the human race, or so I thought.)The Bible states that Noah and his family was chosen because they were good people and didn’t give in to the sins of the world.
This movie took that whole idea and concept away from the original story. I think everything went wrong for this movie, starting with Noah’s son’s Sham, Ham and Jabath. All of which were young boys and not men. In the bible they are men and already have wives.
Sham ends up with the adoptive daughter which means that she is Sham’s non blood related sister,(a girl who Noah saves from being attacked, then raises her as his own.)
Then there is this whole war that is started by a villain, supposedly a descendent of Cain, Tubal-cain, played by Ray Winestone. Viewed as a king by the people, he demands to be saved and uses his army to wage war against Noah so he can take the ark. Noah’s family is protected by fallen angels called Watchers.
The animals began to board the ark. The rains begin and Noah soon has a fallout with Ham as he looses a woman that he wanted to go with him.
lla played by Emma Watson is impregnated by Sham, not realizing it until they’ve spent weeks in the ark. The evil villain escapes the flood as he secretly boarded the ark during the attack.
Noah’s family believes that they will have a chance to restart civilization, but Noah says the sin of the world will end with his family. Once he realizes that lla is pregnant, he plots to kill the baby so that he can uphold god’s plan. The family is outraged and the young couple plan to escape the ark.
Their plan fails as Noah torches their little boat and the stress of that situation begins the onset of labor.
The Villain uses Noah’s son as a ploy to influence Ham so he can kill his father. Tubal-cain wants to got Noah out-of-the-way,so that he can be the ruler of the people. Once the ark lands, and the doves seek a place to start over, a fight breaks out just as Noah discovers that the ark has been invaded by evil. The son defends his father and Tubal-cain is killed on the ark.
Twins are born on the ark and Noah can not bear to murder the innocent babies. They start a new life and the new earth is born.
Every time a new scene opened, the more I disliked this movie. I don’t understand the reason why the writers would change the story to such a degree that makes it disturbing.
The villain was added for dramatic reasons. The purpose for Emma Watson’s character was pointless and the storyline centered around her was inappropriate. Murder in the new world, killing babies, are all things that contradict the story in so many ways.
I grew up reading about Noah and the flood, and I just can’t express enough, how disappointed I was. They even added Noah’s grandfather Methuselah portrayed by Anthony Hopkins. The character presented could have been introduced better.
The special effects were good, but the story telling was just so bad. I did find myself wanting an even more detailed back-story on the watchers. That could have been developed better.
This role was not fitting for the cast, with the exception of Hopkins, and where did Noah find clippers to get his head shaved? Really?
I gave this movie 2 stars, not a box office must see.

The season 4 Finale of the Walking Dead was a bone chilling episode that wanted me itching for more. After several disappointing episodes without Rick Grimes getting any kind of camera time, last night’s episode surly put things back on track.
Rick shares a very nice moment with Michone as they relax and sit by a fire. Surrounded by pitch blackness, the two are alarmed by a strange sound in the woods. Joe and guys from the mysterious house finally catch up to Rick. Clearly a similar scene taken right from the comic books, give or take a few changes, Rick looses his cool as Carl and Michone’s lives are threatened. Daryl comes out of shadows to vouch for Rick. He puts his own life on the line and is punished for not telling the “truth.” Rick and the others defend themselves and we see a side of Rick surface, which has been suppressed for very long time.
After a run in with the “Claimed” gang, and reuniting with loner Daryl Dixon, Rick and his crew find Terminus. Rick makes an important move by burrying some of his guns right off the property.
The crew seeks refuge, but within a few minutes Rick notices Hershal’s watch, Glenn’s riot gear and Maggie’s poncho. He demands to see his people and soon he is attacked and led to a containment unit. Once inside he discovers that Glen, Maggie, along with Sasha and some friends are captured as well. The official reunion was nothing but a questionable greeting, as the show ended with Rick saying that “these people don’t know who they are messing with.”
Now we are left to wait until October to find out what will happen.
Overall the finale was great, and I hope that the writers stay focused on Rick. They must not forget that this is Rick’s journey and that the experiences are being told from his point of view. In addition to the group being reunited,
There were some important flashbacks that showed Hershal’s impact and influence on Rick. It was nice to see him be part of the finale. It gave us a chance to remember him again, and it gave Rick a chance to open up and really embrace who he is as a person and keep the cycle and balance between humanity and survival.
Next Season! I’m counting it down!!
Now we just have to survive the wait!

As Aj’s life hangs in the balance, his family stands by his side to support and comfort him. Monica and Michael try to make sense of the whole incident while they prepare for Dr. Patrick Drake to work his neurological magic on Aj. Ava and Sonny go on with their lives. As they try to maintain their alibis, Anna and Dante do their best to pick up the pieces in solving the crime.
Sabrina has caught on to Carlos’ lies as too many coincidences have fallen into place.
After being questioned at her apartment by Anna and Dante, Ava
shockingly returns to Aj’s room at GH prepared to finish him off, but I know that that moment will be interrupted by someone else coming into the room. They will catch Ava and she will once again lie her way out of a tight situation.
I must give Ava credit, she is talented in being deceitful.

As far as Ava and Silas’ issue, I believe that Ava is innocent. Silas’ wife is alive and she is the one that is trying to set him up. She is following Silas and Sam, setting things into motion to slowly bring him down. She killed the pharmacist and will soon make her presence known.
Happy Friday!!!L.L.

I’ve been on the edge of my seat this entire week as the events of GH intensify. Aj was shot yesterday by none other than Sonny. And now that snake Ava has Sonny right where she wants him. I have to admit that the plan to have her brother framed for Aj’s attempted murder is clever, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. For some reason I want to see Julian happy and in a situation where he is not in some kind of trouble.
I just wished that Aj would have blurted out that Ava killed Connie. He had time, and just maybe Sonny would have turned the gun on Ava.
Now that Aj has been wheeled into GH, and Elizabeth phoned Michael to tell him, this whole Aj shooting will confirm to Anna that Aj was telling the truth. This will come back to haunt Sonny.

It’s been quite a while since I wrote anything related to my Chronicles of the Celestial series, and that is because I’ve been so busy finishing up the last book in seris titled Dark Revelation.

The book is a final in so many ways. Sydney,my main character fights and survives the apocalypse. Many sub storylines and character plots come to a close. Sydney and her guardian angel Angelo take the next step in their relationship and the Earthly Realm is on the verge of healing from Ultimate Devastation.

There are some plots that I did leave open on purpose, so that I could go back to them. It’s hard to say goodbye to characters that you’ve grown to love throughout the years. I’ve had a really tough time coming to grips with ending the series. I’ve decided to pick up where I left off in Dark Revelation and begin a new series starring Sydney and other well developed characters I’ve created for COTC.
I will announce plans for the new series as soon as it is developed.

The Walking Dead, mid season premier didn’t have me on the edge of my seat like the finale did. Even though I was so excited to experience the journey with Rick and Carl, I couldn’t help but feel that the episode was pretty much uneventful.
I must admit that there were some very important discoveries made when it came to Michone. We learned a little more about her past and saw more of a vulnerability to her character, which was refreshing to see.
Rick suffers from some potentially life threatening injuries when he had his battle with the governor. As he and Carl try to manage to pick up the pieces after the war, the emotional war of battling loss and the father and son relationship they had, meets even more challenges.
They move on foot scavenging for the basic necessities of life. Carl makes an attempt to try to protect his father by assuming a leadership role, but Rick does his best to try to keep Carl’s childhood innocence alive.
I was so excited to see what had happened to everyone else that left the prison, but unfortunately the episode on focused on Rick, Carl, and Michone.
Rick’s injuries soon get the best of him and he slips into a coma. At this point I wasn’t really nervous for him because Rick has been going nonstop since Atlanta. His body just shut down, and after everything he has been through, he is after all-human.
Rick needed to rest, and was in desperate need of medical attention.
An angered and frightened Carl feels that he is ready to let his father go, and states that he can survive alone and tells Rick that he can die. He ventures off on his own to find food in a neighboring home and quickly faces a Walker scare that almost gets him killed.
Carl’s bravery is unprecedented. He retreats back to where Rick is and soon believes that Rick will die. A torn Carl tries to handle the situation and Rick slowly comes out of his coma.
Michone follows the trail left by Rick and Carl, as she manages to begin her own journey alone. Her emotions go awry as she reminisces over the life she once had and copes with what life has become. While she pushes on, she eventually finds her way back on the steps of the house where Rick and Carl are.
Predictions:
I think that Michone will take care of Rick, to help him get back on his feet. Now that we know that Michone was a mother, her closeness with Carl is better understood. She had a son and knows what’s it’s like to have that mother-son bond. Michone will fall in love with Carl and Rick and with the feeling and ideas of what family represents. Michone is going to give the Grimes boys a sense of family again. Once she walks back in their lives her presence will give them hope to find the others.
I’m so curious to find out where the second half of this season will take fans.
Episode Bonus: The opening scene, where Michone goes back to the prison to find Hershel as a Walker and surprisingly all that is left is his head. I thought that was a great way for fans to officially say goodbye to Hershel.

GENERAL Hospital Spotlight

Things are brewing in Port Charles, and the excitement is building to such a degree that it is almost explosive.

Patrick finally knows that Sabrina is pregnant with his child. This whole thing is a great set up for Robin to leave. Now that Victor has made an offer for Robin to revive Helena and Starvos, this is the perfect time to bring Jason Morgan Back. Yes it is true that Steve Burton will soon make his comeback to GH, where he belongs. Jason Morgan is alive!!! His picture has been plastered on the screen for a short while but that’s enough to get fans in gear for what is to come. I believe that Jason will be the key to Sonny ending the war with the Jerome’s.
Julian Jerome has broken the ice with his son Lucas which will open the door for him to join his father. I’m not sure how Julian will take his son’s news about being gay, but at this point Brad might as well say goodbye to Felix.
The most exciting elements this week is the revelation between Ben and the assumptions that Elizabeth has about Ben’s paternity. I can’t wait until Dante and LuLu find out the child is theirs. Britt will loose Nicolas over this which will make it easier for Elizabeth to reclaim her love for him.
The Carley and Franco storyline is being dragged out too long and no matter how Kiki believes in Franco’s innocence, she has damaged her relationship with Michael, maybe beyond repair.
I can’t wait to see how the week ends.

NBC’s Dracula

Dracula TV

NBC’s Dracula starring Johnathan Rhys Meyers is an exciting show that has great potential. The story follows the centuries old vampire as he is awakened by the famous Van Helsing. The two have suffered a great deal in the past by The Order of the Dragon and they team up to seek revenge against them. Dracula goes by the alias Alexander Grayson, as he assumes the identity of an American business man. He quickly realizes that his long-lost love has been reincarnated and takes the form of a high society woman aspiring to become a doctor. Grayson’s love for Mina is stronger than ever. While he seeks his revenge he also seeks to live in the sun so that he can get close to Mina and reclaim his love for her.

Season One was just the introduction of a potentially great and exciting adventure. I think that NBC was brave to try to take on a show like this, but I really feel that this show would benefit better from being on a premium cable network such as HBO or Showtime. Every one knows that Dracula is a sensual, dark, and ruthless creature that will stop at nothing to get what he wants. I think that the show could better reflect those elements on cable. With it being on NBC, there is still a lot that must be taken into consideration when looking at content and censorship. The show has introduced some controversial themes, but clearly must hold back to a certain degree.
Season Two is still being questioned because of fluctuating ratings, but I hope that one of the cable networks pick up the show for season two. Johnathan Rhys Meyers is a great actor and is perfect for the role. Being on a cable network will also give him the chance to embrace or channel his inner King Henry the VIII.
