Scream 7, directed by Kevin Williamson (Scream VI) and starring Neve Campbell (Scream 1996), Courtney Cox (Scream VI), and Mathew Lillard (Scream 1996), is a screaming good time with fun moments, jump scares, and thrilling kill scenes!

The seventh installment in the horror franchise follows Sidney Prescott as she juggles her new life as a wife, mother, and businesswoman.

Sidney’s attempt at a normal life is shattered as her traumatic past resurfaces, with the infamous Ghostface killer returning in dramatic and gruesome fashion.

While a new generation of victims suffers their demise, the story paves the way for new heroes to rise, faithfully intertwining elements of a plot that made us fall in love with the iconic horror franchise.

The action, mystery, and overall thrill made this film stand out in a good way. Campbell’s portrayal of Sydney Prescott is beyond iconic. Cox’s return as Gail Weather’s was historically heroic. Sydney’s daughter, Tatum, portrayed by Isabel May (1923), was a strong addition to an already strong cast. She did a great job holding the story together, while Mathew Lillard’s reprisal of Stu provided an equally relatable balance to the storytelling.

The special effects were over-the-top and blended well, while the new Ghostface costume design and personality flair presented a bold, edgy strength and arrogance that projected well on screen.

The score draws the audience in, blending ’90s nostalgia with modern elements and creating an immersive atmosphere that delights horror fans.

Scream 7 is a great addition to the franchise.

It’s a must-see and deserves five stars!
